Chiton Calumet Co. Seat Sign The Chilton Public School District is a K-12 district with an average enrollment of approximately 1,200 students. The district is composed of three schools - Chilton High School, Chilton Middle School, Chilton Elementary School and a District Office that is located within the high school facility. Chilton Elementary and Middle Schools are distinct buildings that share a common library media center and lunchroom. All school facilities are located on a hundred acre tract of land located on the south end of the City of Chilton on State Hwy. 151.  Chilton, a city of approximately 3,950 residents, is the county seat of Calumet County in Wisconsin. The Chilton community is extremely proud and supportive of its schools. These qualities are reflected in high student achievement and involvement in extra-curricular activities at all levels of the educational program.

In September 2003, the Chilton Public School District opened a new High School facility. The school features large classrooms each with their own natural light, an impressive athletic wing, and the state-of-the-art Engler Center of the Performing Arts. The elementary and middle school facilities were also remodeled and expanded, at this time, with additional classrooms and the building of a new pool.

The district is recognized as a leader in utilizing a data-driven decision making model for utilizing best practices in all areas of the educational program. Chilton student achievement ranks among the top within the state of Wisconsin. Our students not only learn, but they are taught how to learn. The district and community share the expectation that students demonstrate the skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
