Welcome to Chilton High School!
My name is Matt Kiel, and I have the privilege of serving as the Principal of Chilton High School. Being part of the Chilton community for the past 12 years has been an incredible honor. At Chilton High School, we believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a positive and successful school experience. Every student is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential each day.
Our work is guided by the mission of Chilton High School:
To assure that all students graduate with a substantial knowledge base that develops effective thinking, communication, and application skills; an enthusiasm for life and lifelong learning; and compassion for themselves and, more importantly, for others as they contribute to the society of today and tomorrow.
We bring this mission to life by emphasizing four core pillars: Independence, Community, Resilience, and Effort. These values guide our decisions, shape our culture, and help prepare students for success beyond high school. As students grow in these areas, they develop the confidence and skills needed to thrive in college, careers, military service, and life.
This year, we will continue strengthening our Academic and Career Planning (ACP) program. Our goal is to provide every student with meaningful opportunities to explore their interests, develop a personalized pathway, and make informed decisions about their future. We are committed to ensuring that every graduate leaves Chilton High School with a clear plan for their next steps before they walk across the stage and toss their cap into the air.
