This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District’s business and is not to be considered a public hearing. There may be a time for public comment during the meeting as indicated in the agenda.

The Board of Education will convene into closed session pursuant to State Statute 19.85 (1)(c) to discuss Administrative, Chilton Education Association (CEA) and
Support Staff Wages and Benefits.

6. Delegations: This is the time for any person attending the meeting as an observer to express a particular comment or concern.

A. Acceptance of the following Gift(s) to the District:
     -Weber Oil Gas Pump – Month of March - $165.79 – Chilton School District.
     -Donation of $6,882.00 to the School District to purchase a flag pole for Athletic Complex. In memory of Vern Knoespel from the Knoespel family.
     -Worthington Industries – Pallet of Brazing Rods and Solder to Chilton High School Tech. Ed. Department.

 7. Old Business:

A. President’s Report – The Board President will update the Board on various topics.

B. Student Board Representative Report – Mr. Eddy Prescott, Student Council Board of Education Representative, will provide an update to the Board on current student
topics.

C. Board of Education Committee Reports

Finance Committee Report – The Finance Committee met on Monday, Monday, May 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.

Policy Committee Report –

Third Reading - Policy 7230 – Gifts, Grants and Bequests.

The Board of Education will be asked to dispense of the formal reading and approve the third and final reading of Policy 7230 – Gifts, Grants and Bequests.

Buildings and Grounds Committee Report – The Buildings and Grounds Committee met on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. The next meeting will be held on
Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 7:00 a.m.

Education Committee Report – The Education Committee met on Thursday, May 9, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at
1:00 p.m.

-Approval of School District Student Handbooks.

-Approval of Agriculture Course for Science Credit.

-Approval of Elementary UFLI Foundations Phonics Program.

8. New Business

A. Approval/Denial of Open Enrollment Requests – The Board of Education will take action on Open Enrollment requests into and out of the School District of Chilton for
the 2023-2024 school year.

B. Approval of Out-of-State Student Field Trip for Chilton FBLA – Chilton FBLA students will have the option to attend the National FBLA Convention and
Competition in Atlanta, Georgia on June 26 to July 1, 2023.
